TDN Rising Star Evita (Persian King) followed up an impressive five-length debut victory at Chantilly in September with a narrow defeat back there last month and is in the mix along with last term's G2 Debutante Stakes and G3 Silver Flash victrix Composing. Last year's third Waldadler, who also posted a fourth in the G1 Irish St Leger, was one spot behind Narrativo when they met in early April and is another worthy of consideration. Anything other than a comfortable win in this O'Brien-dominated Derby prep will see him fall down the Ballydoyle pecking order and we need to see the colt that brushed aside Endorsement in the Zetland once again.
